How do I get a message on the marquee outside
of City Hall or on public television Channel 7?
- Call City Hall at 316-835-2286, write us at 303 Main St., Halstead, KS 67056, or E-Mail us at cityclerk@halsteadks.com.
- Limit of 4 lines and 18 characters per line; no charge
- Channel 7: No charge. We edit the messages to fit the screen.
- Eligible Organizations: Religious Organizations, Educational Organizations, other not for profit organizations or temporary community fund raising groups.
- How do I contact the Animal Control Officer?
- Call the Halstead Police Department at 316-835-2266 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mon. through Fri. In an emergency outside these hours call 9-1-1.
How do I report a gas leak?
- Call City Hall at 835-2286 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- After hours call 9-1-1.
- How do I contact the Recreation Director?
- Call Grant Williams at 835-2517. If he is not in the office, leave a message on his answering machine. You may also call City Hall at 835-2286 and we will transfer you to his voice mail.
- Where do I get information regarding utility setups?
- Call City Hall at 835-2286 or come by the City Clerk's office at 303 Main St.
Where do I get information on cemetery spaces and how much do they cost?
- Call City Hall at 316-835-2286.
- For residents and property owners within the city, spaces are $300.00 each.
- For all others, spaces are $600.00 each.
