• Part-time Customer Service Clerk/Administrative Assistant (20-30 hrs per week)
• Full-time Parks and Facilities Maintenance Worker (40 hrs per week)
• Full-time Police Officer (certification preferred but not required to apply)
All positions will be eligible for full or partial city benefits. Final starting wage for any position will be DOQ.

The Halstead Fire Department held a Fire Prevention Presentation — and brought along a special guest: Fire Pup! 🐾🚒 Fire Pup was acquired through special donations made to the Fire Department.
Firefighter Doug showed the kids what firefighters look like in full gear and reminded them not to be scared if they ever see one during an emergency. The kids also got to climb aboard a fire truck and explore the tools used to keep our community safe.

Sean Sievers with AAA Midwest Roofing will be around Halstead today, September 24th. He has completed all the necessary steps and is licensed with the city to sell door to door.
The City of Halstead is excited to continue improving our downtown sidewalks!
This week, Main Street sidewalks between 1st and 2nd Street are under construction. Starting Monday, October 6th, construction will move to Main Street sidewalks between 2nd and 3rd Street.
