This dog was found around the 300 block of Walnut last night. Has a blue gray and white collar but no tags. The dog was taken and released to Caring Hands Humane Society. Contact the Halstead Police Department for instructions on how to be reunited with your pet. 316-835-2286 Option 2.

Mayer Specialty Services will be cleaning sanitary sewers December 8–12, 2025. This important work helps prevent stoppages and keeps our system running smoothly.

If your home or business is in the affected area, please:
✅ Cover all floor drains with plastic and secure with a weight.
✅ Cover all toilets with plastic and close the lid.
✅ If you experience an unpleasant odor, run water into each drain to refill the traps.
