The City of Halstead will be shutting water off on College Street between 4th & 6th St this morning.
Crews will be working in the area, and water service will be temporarily interrupted during repairs/work.
We will provide an update once water service has been restored.

The City of Halstead is proud to share an exciting improvement to one of our community’s historic landmarks—the Halstead Mausoleum.
The City recently hired Mid Continental Restoration to professionally clean the Mausoleum, helping remove years of dirt, staining, moss, and discoloration from the stonework. The results are remarkable! ✨
This project was headed by Tyler Cotner on behalf of the City of Halstead, helping coordinate the effort to give this important piece of our community’s history some much-needed care and attention.
The Mausoleum is an important part of Halstead’s history, and investing in its care helps ensure that future generations can continue to appreciate and remember its significance.
We’re excited to share these before-and-after photos and show the difference professional restoration can make!

When driving through an active school zone, drivers cannot have a mobile device in their hand.

We’re excited to introduce a NEW flag football program for students currently in 1st or 2nd grade, offered through the Mid Kansas League!
📅 Games: Saturday mornings
📆 Season: September 12 – October 10
📍 Location: League towns offering the program
💰 Cost: $40 per child
