The Halstead Fire Department held a Fire Prevention Presentation — and brought along a special guest: Fire Pup! 🐾🚒 Fire Pup was acquired through special donations made to the Fire Department.
Firefighter Doug showed the kids what firefighters look like in full gear and reminded them not to be scared if they ever see one during an emergency. The kids also got to climb aboard a fire truck and explore the tools used to keep our community safe.

This week, Main Street sidewalks between 1st and 2nd Street are under construction. Starting Monday, October 6th, construction will move to Main Street sidewalks between 2nd and 3rd Street.
